Single Parent Emergency Assistance Directive Inc. (SPEAD) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance to single parents in need. We strive to create a safe and secure environment for single parents and their children, offering a wide range of services that help families stay on their feet during difficult times.
At SPEAD, our dedicated team of volunteers is passionate about making a difference in the lives of single-parent families. We provide much-needed resources and support to help our clients get back on their feet and have access to the same opportunities as other families.
OUR FOUNDER
Behind the Scenes
Single Parent Emergency Assistance Directive Inc was established by Kiovani Shepard in 2020 to address some of the main struggles experienced by her as a single parent. Investing our expertise and resources to further achieve our cause, we are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for financially challenged single parents. Shepard envisioned giving back to the community that assisted her through tough times. S.P.E.A.D. will achieve its mission in a variety of ways measuring our success not by monetary size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts. Just imagine what we can achieve together!
